Man found shot at northwest Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is in critical condition at the hospital this morning after he was shot in north Houston.

A woman found the victim laying on the ground at the Orchard at Garden Oaks apartments in the 800 block of W. 34th and called 911.

Police say the victim had sustained gunshot wounds and rushed him to Hermann Hospital. It's unclear at this time who may have shot him and why.

Police say they are working to determine if this case is connected to two earlier shootings on Skyline Drive and Gessner Road.
