An Albuquerque mother was charged with child abuse after she was seen on video cheering on her daughter in a fight, deputies said.CLICK HERE to see the full video of the fightNicole Morlan allowed her daughter to fight with another girl at school, they said. A Taft Middle School student caught the fight and Morlan's comments on the video.The two had argued earlier in the day before things got physical, authorities said.In the video, a teacher can be seen attempting to break up the fight. The teacher is then punched and pulled to the ground.The mother is wearing a striped hooded sweatshirt in the footage, officials say.Morlan was arrested on charges of child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, both of which are considered felonies.She has since bonded out, and made her first court appearance Thursday. She was advised to get a lawyer. If convicted, she could face jail time and thousands of dollars in fines.The students have since been disciplined.
